Gross Weekly (36 hrs) – $3708/Week
Breakdown:
- W2 – $66/hr
- Housing & meal Stipend – $1332/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Burn ICU Nurse to join our team on a 16-week contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Burn Intensive Care Unit, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and compassion. This position involves working night shifts and requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Provide comprehensive care to patients with severe burn injuries in the ICU setting.
Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and dietitians, to deliver optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Educate patients and their families on the burn recovery process and care at home.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide life-saving measures as required.
Requirements:
Current RN License for the State of CA.
Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
At least 6 months of experience in a Burn Unit.
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
